Backcountry Comanche-Makivik

This is Makivik when we first brought him home at about 7 weeks old.

He was much darker than our girls had been at his age and had a coarser coat type. 

As you can see though, he was very cute, and although he doesn't look it here, exceptionally noisy!

This is Makivik at about 11 weeks old, Mia is in the background to give you an idea of the size difference between the pups and adults at this age.

This is at Christmas time (we don't normally make our dogs wear silly hats!) so Makivik was about 5-6 months old.

Here you can see he is going darker again.

This photo was taken in February so Makivik was around 7-8 months old.  Although he looks like he likes water, he is more of a paddler than a swimmer and sticks to the edges of our pond...whimp.
